We collect, treat, and recycle about 7 million gallons of treated wastewater safely back into the environment each day.
BJWSA follows the regulations of the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and the standards set in the Clean Drinking Water Act by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). We see these regulations and standards as the minimum and always strive to exceed these requirements.
