Ed Saxon has been with BJWSA for twenty seven years, and was selected as General Manager in January 2013. Ed’s experience and dedication to the people and Lowcountry are the drivers for his vision and leadership philosophy as BJWSA’s chief executive.

Ed holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is president of the SC Water Quality Association, and serves in many water and wastewater industry associations nationally.

Ed’s love of and commitment to our “slice of paradise” is demonstrated by his volunteer efforts in serving on various non-profit Boards, such as the United Way of the Lowcountry (past Beaufort campaign Chair), the Sea Island Rotary Club (past President), Beaufort Chamber of Commerce, and the Beaufort Water Festival (Commodore 2001). Because of Ed’s dedication to the Lowcountry, he encourages all BJWSA employees to get involved in their community.
