Customers with past-due accounts are currently receiving Red Reminder Notices. Courtesy calls and emails will go out this month and then again a few days prior to disconnection with the “last day to pay” and amount to avoid the interruption.
A delinquent fee of $50 will be added on the morning of disconnection. If the technician reaches the location, there is an additional $30 trip fee. Full balance and fees must be paid in order to restore service.
Customers should email cs@bjwsa.org if they are unsure if they are set up on autopay or if they feel they received a notice in error.
Payment arrangements can be made with a representative over the telephone only. Scheduling a payment on our payment portal does not protect service from interruption. No arrangements can be made on day of disconnection.
If a customer is experiencing a hardship, they should call 843-987-9200 and speak with a Customer Service Representative to see if assistance is available.
