2021 Public Information and Education: Educational Program - Trick or Treatment: A Guided Tour of BJWSA's Water Reclamation Facilities

BJWSA was recognized in the Educational Program category for the October 2019 inaugural "Trick or Treatment: A Guided Tour of BJWSA's Water Reclamation Facilities". The Public Information and Education Awards honor agencies for their inventive efforts to educate the public on the effects of waste water treatment and pollution control on the environment.

AT&T & GovTech

BJWSA Director of Technology and Innovation Tricia Kilgore received AT&T and GovTech magazine's Special Districts' Leadership Award for Technology Innovation for her collaboration with the BJWSA Sustainability ad hoc committee. This category recognizes special district leaders who have led innovative technology initiatives.

BJWSA's SCADA team's 4G radio upgrade project in 2022 has been recognized by AT&T Government Technology magazine as a Special District Program "Ideas Worth Sharing" in the Operations Category - Innovative Collaboration for 4G Radios Upgrade.
